- University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics is currently the only Hospital The Preemie Project Donates to. We donate to the following areas:
- Touching Hearts Infant Bereavement Program - Donated bereavement items go to the OB outpatient clinics as well as inpatient units that have infant bereavement needs. They use miscarriage packages and bereavement packages of all sizes.
- PICU - 3-5lb and 9-11lbs bereavement packages.
- NICU - Need about 100 Christening/Baptismal gowns/outfits per year. The largest need is in the 1-4 lb size range. They also need items for babies as large as 9-12lbs and about 6 less than one pound size per year.
