That is what I heard several times during the last several months of my experience with a Foster Baby in NICU. Mothers and Staff pointed out this heart-felt emotion when learning of my connection to the Preemie Project.
We recently took a donation up to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the UIHC in Iowa City. The nurses were so excited to pass everything out to their patients!

Is there a better way to spend a hot, sticky July weekend than sewing cute, cute blankets for critically ill babies in the NICU and Peds ICU? A group of dedicated volunteers gathered at the Aker home this weekend for hours of friendship, food, and sewing during The Preemie Project quarterly Workgroup weekend.
