I am pleased to introduce you to our wonderful webmaster, Jeff Hackbarth. The Preemie Project wouldn’t be where it is without him! We’ve had so many questions about him that I asked Jeff to introduce himself to our volunteers....
As many of you know, we are no longer able to have our famous bake sales at the University of Iowa Hospital. However, we are still able to have Bake Sales at Old Capitol Mall! This is a perfect location because so many students walk through there each day. They seem to really like the opportunity to buy a little “Taste of Home”. There are even more office workers there now that so many were displaced due to the flood. This is a great fundraising opportunity.
October is just around the corner and that means Pumpkin Hats are poppin up all over the Aker house
It’s that time again. Please send all of your pumpkin donations to the Michigan Chapter by Tuesday. We’re making our October donation on Saturday, Oct. 4th!

A reminder about the upcoming Pumpkin and Winter Holidays donations. We recommend getting started on these items early since the holidays can be a busy time! As more pumpkin items come in we will post an update on the goals.
