Announcing The Preemie Project’s Winter Holiday Donation Contest!
Knit or crochet a holiday themed hat and bootie set for donation and be entered into a drawing for a prize! There are three categories, the winner of each will be awarded a great prize.
Most sets donated - Awarded to the volunteer who donates the most hat and bootie SETS.
Iowa Chapter Drawing - Each hat and bootie SET donated will earn an entry into the random drawing.
Michigan Chapter Drawing - Each hat donated will earn an entry into the random drawing.
All winter holiday donations must be made according to TPP Donation Guidelines and be clearly holiday themed (for example, a plain red set will not count). Donations must be received by December 12. Donations should be sent to the appropriate chapter to be counted in the drawing. See the TPP Patterns page 2 for holiday pattern ideas.
These donations are a HUGE hit with the families! The nurses take pictures of the babies in these special items and make cards for the families. Little things like this mean a lot to the parents. I hope you will consider helping us with these donations this year.
