Bake Sale Volunteers Needed!
As many of you know, we are no longer able to have our famous bake sales at the University of Iowa Hospital. However, we are still able to have Bake Sales at Old Capitol Mall! This is a perfect location because so many students walk through there each day. They seem to really like the opportunity to buy a little “Taste of Home”. There are even more office workers there now that so many were displaced due to the flood. This is a great fundraising opportunity.

Bakers are desperately needed to make this event a success! We can’t do it without you!
It is helpful for bakers to package their items “ready to sell”. For example, cookies/brownies can be packaged in baggies of 2-6 and tied with ribbon, plate of cookies/brownies, etc.
Please email if you’re interested in baking, pricing the night before the sale, or working the day of the sale. Linda will send you info/address for dropping off your baked goods.

Your family favorites
The funds raised from these sales are very important in fulfilling the mission of The Preemie Project. Funds are used to buy fabric for the Work Group Weekends, items to help families that are experiencing financial crisis due to this hospitalization. This includes baby care items for going home packages and food for nursing mothers.
