More Hawkeye cuteness
Laura and I took the Hawkeye donation to the hospital today. We had intended to get the nurses and nurses aides to pose for some pictures with the items. But, they were all so busy taking care of their tiny patients that we pretty much dropped the bags and left. When Laura went back into the NICU with a bag we had previously forgotten, she heard alot of exclamations of “How cute” coming from the room where we had left the items. Let’s hope our littlest Hawkeyes will bring some good luck across the street at the football stadium tomorrow. Let me share a few more pictures of Hawkeye cuteness.
These very cute hats were made by Cindy Dayton. They are crocheted. I am trying to get the pattern to post on the website. They were extremely cute and well made.

Jane Fredericks definitely went the extra mile here.

This one comes under the heading “How did she do that”. Lynda Connell, I hope you will share.

Here is the donation, packed up and ready to deliver. Sorry there were not any pictures at the hospital. We did talk to an NICU nurse on the way up in the elevator. She was very excited to see the delivery. She said that for sure all the babies would get fresh bedding today to go with their hawkeye blankets.
Thanks to everyone that helped make this donation a success. Now, on to the pumpkin donation. I went to the sale at Joann’s today and bought out all the orange and black flannel they had…......
