October Bake Sale-Bakers Needed!
I am posting the following message on behalf of Jane Fredericks, our Fundraising Committee Chair:
I wanted to let everyone know that we are still able to have Bake Sales at Old Capitol Mall! I have been in contact with the manager and set up two dates.
The dates for bake sales are: Wednesday, October 15th from 9am-4pm and Wednesday, December 3rd from 9am-4pm.
This opportunity will enable TPP to make up for the lost revenue (not having bake sales at UIHC). I realize that we have donations and work groups happening over the next few months and everyone will be busy. I’m calling on our volunteers to help by baking some cookies, candy, brownies, cakes, muffins, breads etc. Remember the students pass through the mall on their way to class and the office workers on the second floor stop by during coffee breaks and buy our “goodies”.
We are currently signing up volunteers to bake for and work the October 15th sale. Please if you are able to participate. We will be posting the drop-off location, dates and times in the coming weeks.
