Pumpkin Donation!
We made the pumpkin donation on last Thursday 10/30/2008, just in the time for Halloween. TPP volunteers outdid themselves yet again. Just look at all of these cute pumpkin items!
The bags in the front contain the rest of the hat and bootie sets. We counted 65 1-3lb sets, 35 3-5lb sets, 56 6-8lb sets and 34 9-11lb sets. Great work everyone!
My Mom (Linda) and I dropped these off around 10am in the NICU. The staff saw us coming and was thrilled to see the orange items coming down the hall! We were quickly swarmed by nurses and nursing assistants eager to choose items for their patients. Here is a picture of NICU staff members, including TPP’s board member and NICU nurse Mary-Faith Fuller (far right).
That wraps up the creation of our 4th Baby Pumpkin Patch at the UIHC NICU. On behalf of the families we support, thank you for your commitment to our pumpkin donation!
