The Preemie Project Girl Scout Knitting lessons

image The Preemie Project Volunteers recently spent a Saturday afternoon with a group of eager young Girl Scouts.  The Community Outreach Committee arranged for us to provide knitting lessons to a group of Girl Scouts and their mothers.  Here Joni Lankin worked with a scout and her mother.  The girls got the hang of it much quicker than you might expect for a group so young.

We thought you might enjoy seeing pictures of these amazing young ladies.  image Jane has had alot of practice teaching her granddaughter to knit.  It was no surprise that her student caught on so well.  imageAndrea Knepper (right) has been the driving force behind the Community Outreach Committee.  Despite the young age of the girl, they astounded us at how rapidly they learned.  It was a very entertaining afternoon.  We hope the girls enjoyed it as much as we did
