UIHC NICU Thank You
We received the following thank you note via email this week. Keep up the great work TPP Volunteers!

To all involved in The Preemie Project~
Our son Isaac was born at 37 weeks gestation and developed pulmonary hypertension very quickly after birth. We spent the first 3 1/2 weeks of Isaac’s life in the NICU. One day when I walked into his room there was a very cute blanket with his name on it from The Preemie Project. What a great surprise, and what a thoughtful gift. We were still inpatients when football season started and we are big Hawkeye fans. Isaac already had a Hawkeye sleeper, but our nurse went and got him a Hawkeye hat and a Hawkeye blanket for the big game. We really appreciate your organization, even though our son was not a preemie, it is still nice to be thought of while in the hospital. Your organization is amazing, keep up the good work. You bring smiles to people’s faces while in the hospital and that is a wonderful thing and you should all be very proud. Bless you for being a blessing to others!
The card in with our hat said it was made by Jane Fredericks. Thank you Jane for putting your talent to good use, we appreciate you and all you do!

Sometimes we all get so tired from the work we do. This is especially so with a large donation like this. Seeing the picture of Isaac makes it all worthwhile. Where are my needles? I’ve got Pumpkin hats to make.
