December 2008 Bake Sale

It has been such a busy year. We just finished with the bake sale/craft sale that we had at Old Capital Mall today. We are exhausted.. After days of baking, organizing, hauling, setting up, the volunteers came through again. We had a great sale with a total of $1700! The UIHC employees that work in the building expressed a lot of thanks to us for having the event where they could come to it.
We are too tired to cook tonight. While the frozen pizza is in the oven, I thought we would share a few pictures.
We had a wonderful assortment of scarves and hats
Very cute children’s toys, blankets, taggies, sweaters, hats.
Then there was the food…..
