Fundraising Committee News

The fundraising committee has a great start to 2009 with the March Bake Sale raising $1,068.87! All of the money we raise goes directly to support TPP Programs. With the addition of the Back to Sleep Campaign and the strain the economy is placing on NICU families, the success of our fundraisers iwill be even more important this year. We need your support to make 2009 a success!

March 2009 Bake Sale

Stuff Etc. in Coralville, Iowa
The time for spring cleaning is near!  Bring your items to the Coralville, IA Stuff Etc. and donate your proceeds to The Preemie Project. 

Step One: Visit the Stuff Etc website to be sure that your items will be accepted and read their consignments policy. 
Step Two:  Call to make an appointment to drop your items off
Step Three: Mention The Preemie Project or the account number 26377 when making your appointment to drop off items (YOU MUST CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT TO DROP OFF ITEMS 319-545-8408)
Step Four: Donate your proceeds to TPP!  We will receive 40% of all sales.

Summer Craft Sale-July 21st and 22nd
The Summer Craft Sale will be upon us before we know it.  For the 4th year in a row, we will be selling crafts at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.  We need your help to meet our goal of raising $3,000 at this sale!  You can help by making and donating crafts for this sale.  The time to get started is now!  This is a great opportunity to use your creativity to support TPP outside of our “requested items”.  The UIHC employees have come to know our sales and always ask when we will be back.  Please visit our photo gallery to get craft ideas from previous sales.

Anything with an “University of Iowa Hawkeye” theme
Baby Gift Sets (Example: Blanket, Hat/Booties, Painted Onesie)
Scrub Caps (Hospital Workers)
