Hello from Lincoln, NE
Greetings from Lincoln! I’ve been lurking for awhile now and thought it might be time to introduce myself.
I learned about The Preemie Project about a year ago from my niece who works at UIHC. My son and daughter-in-law also work at UIHC although they are all in different departments. I am a native of Muscatine, IA and have friends who have benefitted from the UIHC and the wonderful NICU there, so when I learned about TPP, I wanted to do something to help. It has been fun making all the little hats and booties, and imagining how it might help moms and dads in such a stressful situation to brighten their day for just a bit.
I just recently sent in a package of things so they would be there in time for the opening game. Here are a couple of things I sent:
