Knitters and Crocheters Needed!
Fall will soon be upon us and for TPP, that means our special holiday NICU donations are fast approaching!
On September 4th, 2009 we will be displaying our Hawkeye pride with our “Hawkeye Donation”! Four years ago we started a tradition of donating Hawkeye Themed itemsto the NICU and PICU the Friday before the first home football game of the season. We need volunteers to make black and gold hats and booties for boys and pink and white hats and booties for the girls. Click here to read about last year’s donation.
To help guide your crafting, here are our donation goals:
Hat and Bootie Sets:
1-3lb 15 sets
3-5lb 35sets
6-8lb 35ets
9-11lb 25ets
Blankets:
Small (25” to 30” square): 25
Large and X-Large (30” to 50” square): 50

This donation is always a HUGE hit with the families! The nurses take pictures of the babies in these special items and make cards for the families. We hope you will consider helping us.
