Michigan Chapter Update
Chapter Coordinators Kathleen Plond (left) and Cherie Warner (right) are excited to announce the support of an additional hospital and their upcoming donation dates!
Currently, the Michigan Chapter supports 2 hospitals. When they began their term as chapter coordinators, Kathleen and Cherie decided to support Providence Park Hospital in Novi, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. This hospital opened its doors for the first time in September 2008. Providence Park nurses request larger preemies sized hats (5lbs and up) and blankets sized at least 36” x 36”. They do not use booties.
Last month, Kathleen and Cherie announced the addition of Henry Ford Hospital, located in Detroit, Michigan. They will be making their first donation just in time for Easter! This hospital needs the smaller preemie hats and booties (no larger than 5lbs) They have also requested blankets without size restrictions.
