October Work Group Weekend-Cutters Needed

Our last work group weekend of 2008 is one month away!  Please email if you plan to attend or have questions.

What are TPP Work Group Weekends?
July Work Group ‘08 TPP Work Group Weekends are two days of sewing blankets for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the UIHC.  Sewing skills are not necessary for participation.  We average 200 sewn blankets in one weekend and need A LOT of help to make these weekends successful!

What should I bring?
1. Sewing Supplies (If you own them already)-sewing machine, thread, scissors, pins, etc
2. Potluck Lunch- Small dish to share


How can I sign up?  What if I have questions?

Email with any questions.

What if I want to help but cannot attend?
We need volunteers to help with preparations!

How can I help with preparations?
Volunteers are needed to wash fabric and use it to cut out and pin blankets.  Fabric/pins and printed directions provided.  Email for info.
