Volunteers Needed for June Work Group!
We are looking for volunteers for our June 2009 Work Group Weekend. We need people to help us prepare for and volunteer during the work group. You DO NOT need sewing skills to attend. We have jobs for everyone.
**Potluck lunch will be served. Please bring a small dish to share. Beverages will be provided.**

What are TPP Work Group Weekends?
TPP Work Group Weekends take place four times per year. These weekends are two days of sewing blankets and blanket sleepers for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the UIHC. Sewing skills are not necessary for participation. We will be making ~ 100-150 sewn blankets in addition to a number of Blanket Sleepers. We need A LOT of help to make this weekend successful!
What if I want to help but cannot attend?
We need volunteers to help with preparations! (See below)
How can I help with preparations?
Volunteers are needed to wash fabric and use it to cut out and pin blankets and sleepers. Fabric, pins, patterns and printed directions provided. We will also supply fabric for people who would like to cut out and SEW blankets or sleepers in their home. Email

What should I bring?
1. Sewing Supplies (If you own them already)-sewing machine, serger, thread, scissors, pins, etc
2. Small dish to share at the potluck lunch (We will provide beverages)
