Donation Centers
The following local businesses have agreed to be Preemie Project donations centers. You may drop off your donation at one of the donation centers, or you can set-up a time to drop them with the Iowa Chapter Coordinator. Please contact Laura Aker, the Chapter Coordinator, for more information. Donations will be picked up from the centers a couple times each month.

You may drop your donations off in the Eldercraft Gift Shop on the main floor. If the shop is closed you may leave your donations at the front desk. Remember to leave your first and last name, and address with your donation. Please make sure that your donation is CLEARLY marked “For The Preemie Project”. Why not stop by?! You can go craft shopping at the same time! The Eldercraft Gift Shop is one of Iowa City’s best kept secrets. You must check it out! Thank you to The Iowa City Senior Center for all of their support. The Knitting Shoppe is our newest Iowa City area donation site! You may drop off donations for The Preemie Project here. The Knitting Shoppe also has a large selection of great baby yarns, many of which are suitable for Preemie Project projects. Shop owner, Edyie Stika, can also assist with pattern and yarn selection during store hours.
