In addition to all of the crafting volunteer work we need, there are several non-crafting volunteer opportunities available. This list will be updated when positions arise.
The Preemie Project has recently formed a Community Outreach Community. The purpose of this committee is to establish The Preemie Project as a widely recognized organization throughout the eastern-Iowa area. Additionally, the Community Outreach Committee will be responsible for increasing The Preemie Project’s volunteer force.
The Preemie Project is collecting used cell phones and printer cartridges as a fundraiser. 100% of the funds raised through this project will go directly towards The Preemie Project to help purchase craft supplies, fabric, yarn and items for families in financial need.
Please consider donating your used cell phones and printer cartridges to The Preemie Project!

The Preemie Project needs committee members for the Fundraising Committee. This committee works on developing and organizing events to help raise money for The Preemie Project. Members are expected to attend monthly committee meetings and assist with the organization and running of events. A one year commitment is required.

Participation is not required.
Many of our volunteers across the country truly enjoy being a part of this group. It gives them a chance to get to know the other volunteers. We share links to online free preemie patterns, and information on upcoming sales at their local craft stores.
