Work Group Weekend
April 4-5, 2009
What are TPP Work Group Weekends?
TPP Work Group Weekends take place four times per year. These weekends are two days of sewing blankets and blanket sleepers for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the UIHC. Sewing skills are not necessary for participation. The UIHC needs ~1100 blankets and ~900 blankets sleepers each year. So, we need A LOT of help to make this weekend successful!!
Lessons for sewing the blankets and blanket sleepers will be provided during Day #2.
What should I bring?
1. Sewing Supplies (If you own them already)-sewing machine, serger, thread, scissors, pins, etc
2. Small dish to share at the potluck lunch (We will provide beverages)
