Spring Memory Box Workshop: Iowa City Area

We hope you will join us for our Spring Memory Box Workshop. Our memory boxes are donated to hospitals in Iowa to give to bereaved families suffering the loss of an infant. The boxes are filled with mementos of the infant such as photographs, footprints, lock of hair, booties, etc. The boxes also serve as an acknowledgment of a profound loss and ensure that families do not go home empty-handed.
There is no previous crafting experience required to volunteer. Bring yourself, friends and family, and a pair of sharp scissors. Lunch, beverages, instructions and crafting supplies will be provided.
