June Memory Box Workshop

Coralville Public Library, Meeting Room B
We hope you will join us for our June Memory Box Workshop. Our memory boxes are donated to hospitals in Iowa to give to bereaved families suffering the loss of an infant. The boxes are filled with mementos of the infant such as photographs, footprints, lock of hair, booties, etc. The boxes also serve as an acknowledgment of a profound loss and ensure that families do not go home empty-handed.
There is no previous crafting experience required to volunteer. Bring yourself, friends and family, a pair of sharp scissors. Pizza and beverages will be provided for lunch. Instructions and crafting supplies will be provided. We are always accepting donations of bottles of acrylic paint, flannel, boxes and decorations to keep this program running strong.
Participants are encouraged to park in the lower level lot, which opens directly into the meeting room corridor. The meeting room entrance is to the right as you enter the underground parking. If parking above ground, park in areas other than the two rows closest to the library entrance.
Contact with questions or to sign-up.
