Volunteer Opportunities
- Make and Donate Handmade Items
Please read our crafting guidelines before starting items. Patterns found here. Learn more about our programs here.
- Blanket Sleepers: These sleepers are made from fleece with a separating zipper.
- Booties
- Bonnets/Hats
- Blankets
- Bereavement Clothing: Gowns, Sleepers, Kimonos, Burial Buntings, Angel and Miscarriage Wraps
- Bereavement Mementos: Mother’s Tears Hankies, Small Stuffed Teddy Bears and Bunnies, Memento Bracelets
- Memory Boxes
- Attend Work Groups
Work groups are held quarterly each year, beginning in January. View our Calendar of Events for dates. Volunteers meet on a Saturday and Sunday to sew blankets and blanket sleepers. Sewing skills aren’t needed for participation. Volunteers are needed for each weekend and for preparations.
- Fundraising
100% of the proceeds from our fundraisers go directly to support our mission. Events include bake sales, craft sales, Christmas Gift Wrapping and much more. Visit our Calendar of Events and Group Blog for information about previous and upcoming events.
- Committees
The work of volunteers on several committees, including fundraising, work groups and bereavement help keep TPP running strong. Committees meet quarterly to plan events. Committee members assist in the planning, prepping and working events for their committee. We encourage you to become involved today!
