Family Support

Often preterm infants spend weeks to months in the hospital before they are ready to go home.  This can be a very stressful time for parents.  Many families have to travel hours to visit their little ones in specialized NICUs.  Some have other children at home and travel expenses can place a heavy financial burden. Items are purchased using proceeds from fundraising to support families during their stay in the NICU and for a short time when their little one becomes an NICU graduate.

We accept donations of the following items:

Bibs
Burp cloths
Pacifiers
Bottles
Formula - Neosure / Enfacare (for preemies) or Enfamil /  Similac Infant (regular formula)
Baby Wash and Lotion
Baby Wipes - non scented. The tubs are preferred over refill packs.
Diapers - Size Newborn and Size 1. Pampers are preferred.
New Sleepers, snap front or zip-up sleepers - Greatest need is for size 0-3 month.
Gas Cards
Phone Cards
Prepaid Cell Phones
Pak N Plays - new only. Please contact to make arrangements for shipping if you wish to donate a new Pak-n Play

NOTE:  We no longer collect food items for the nursing mothers.  The Ronald McDonald House stocks food in the NICU family lounge for this purpose.
